I had this realization one day when I was having dinner with hubby near my home. A small young boy of about 10 years of age came selling some pastries. I refused initially but my heart melted when he said "Help me please". At that age, I only knew how to ask for money from my dad! I told hubby that we might not be rich, but we still have food on the table everyday and a decent roof over our heads - while some might not even have enough money to buy a decent meal. Yes, we should always be thankful for what we have.. Yes - we never realise how lucky we are until we see & feel the less fortunate.
